Cavaliers of the Northeast Three-Show Weekend

Calling all Cavaliers!

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels of the Northeast (CNE) is hosting a three-in-one event March 17-20 at the Sheraton Park South Hotel in Richmond, Va.

According to its Facebook page, “The Cavalier Club of the Northeast is a regional club associated with the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, Inc. (CKCSC-USA). CKCSC-USA is the original and largest Cavalier club in the USA. The club was incorporated in 1956 and is devoted to the health and welfare of Cavaliers.”

Cavaliers and their pet parents will have several exciting events to participate in, such as Puppy of the Year, Children’s Handling and health clinics. The event will also feature several guest judges from overseas Cavalier clubs.

The conformation show on Friday morning will be judged by Mark Sedgwick of the Pascavale Cavaliers (UK).

That evening, the Puppy of the Year event will be judged by Gill Baker of Nevhills Cavaliers. Saturday will feature a full day of conformation judging by Brenda Martz of Brookhaven Cavaliers. Finally, on Sunday, the conformation show will be judged by Veronica Hull of Telvera Cavaliers (UK).

The club’s Facebook page reports, “Cavaliers of the Northeast (CNE) includes 12 states from Maine to Maryland and holds five major two-day shows annually, devoted exclusively to Cavaliers.”
