Flying With a Dog? JetBlue Announces Unlimited Pet Flights Package
Although there have been stories of dogs being lost or killed due to strict restrictions by some airlines, Jet Blue is continuing its effort to stay ahead of the pack when it comes to pet travel. Not only was the airline on i Love Dog Friendly’s list of top dog-friendly airlines, but now the company has announced a package that allows pets unlimited travel for $299 for three months.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the new package is called the “All Your Pet Can Jet” deal, which launched along with JetBlue’s “Go Pack,” a package that allows travelers to make 10 flights in three months for prices ranging from $700 to $2,500, depending on how far your travels take you.
The pet package runs from Sept. 7 to Dec. 31, and pets must be accompanied by a pet parent who has purchased a separate ticket. When using the deal, pooches fly in the cabin and are exempt from the standard $200 fee for round-trip fare.
Only pooches who weigh less than 20 pounds are applicable for the new deal and you must bring them in their own carrier. The only destinations that are off-limits are Jamaica, St. Lucia and Barbados.
